Welcome To The Beach

He hooked his arms under her knees and adjusted her a little on his back, just so it was more comfortable for them both. Morrigan smiled when he rested her head on his shoulder and neck - he wouldn't be choked, just like she said.

I guess we can figure it out when we get back to my place. Although a day of swimming and making out with you puts me in the mood for a steak. He laughed a little bit and continued on their way.

Scarlett laughed right along with him. "Whatever your in the mood to eat, I'll eat." She was not picky at all when it came to food.

He glanced over his shoulder before kissing her forearm. You mean swimming and making out with me doesn't put you in the mood for something. Yes - he knew he left that wide open, the grin he tried to suppress broke though.

(I'm just kinda waiting for Rach to get back so she can make the forum and I won't have to move posts. LOL)

Scarlett grinned. "Of course it does. But I don't think they technically label what I want as food."

He walked up to the car and asked for the towel. He placed it on the trunk then sat Scarlett down on it.. Morrigan turned around and placed his hands on either side of her, keeping his gaze to her eyes for a minute. Then, technically, what do they call it? He leaned in and kissed her chin then each side of her neck.

Scarlett softly sighed at each kiss. "At the moment, they call it kissing. Now later, they might find a new name. But no matter the name it involves the same variable. You." She was slightly teasing as to what she wanted. There was no rush. Where was the fun in rushing?

I like the odds of that. Morrigan kissed her lightly on the lips before letting her get up. He unlocked the door and opened it for Scarlett. Once she was inside, he closed it, made sure that everything was in the trunk then made his way to the driver's seat. Feel free to change the station, I'm open to just about anything.

Maneuvering the car out of the spot, they started back to his apartment.

Scarlett shook her head. "This one is fine." She was quiet for a moment then spoke again. "I'm glad you decided to come today."

Miles found himself walking along the beach, feeling the wet sand under his feet and the salty air blowing in his face helped him relax.

Unable to sleep long the night before, Corey had decided to go for a walk. As the best place for that seemed to be a beach... she had made her way to one. Light was beginning to break, skittering across the shore and refracting off the water. It would have been eye grabbing if she were a little more alert.

Miles spotted the young woman walking almost zombie like along the beach line. The sun was setting making the sky a rainbow of warm colors.
While the wind blew and Miles tasted salt, which made him hungry.
Walking towards the woman, he tried to get a feel of her. He couldn't quite tell if she was human or not. But she was no Alec that much was clear.

Hearing someone approach, Indigo glanced around and noted the man heading towards her. He did not seem particularly threatening, so she pulled of her shoes and moved to wade in the water while she waited for him. He would either pass her or want to talk. As Corey was not a mind reader, she wasn't sure which.

The chill of the water was at least enough to jolt her brain into working, so all in all, the situation was definitely working out for the best. While her current method of employment would by no means be long term, it was still employment and her finders' fees payed handsomely.

Miles continued right past the woman, her smell was 100 human and not what he was looking for. The murderer had a burned oranges smell, while she was fresh linens to him. Looking just a bit lonely she sat there, expressing how Miles felt.
Walking into the water, clothes and all Miles waded in, about knee high and kept going. The freezing water shocked his body just a little before he got used to it.

Her eyebrow quirked slightly at the man's behavior before quietly murmuring 'Happy Hunting'.

She of all people recognized someone on the prowl.

Swimming hard Miles felt better. He was slightly cleaner, and a lot less frustrated.
Time to go find him a leopard.

Shrugging at the lack of response, the girl started to walk down the beach. She stuck to the waves though, wandering barefoot with her shoes slung over her shoulder.

The beach was perfect if not more than Rose imagined. She's lived her for a short time bu already loved the area.
As she readied her sun bathing area Rose was glad she brought an umbrella. While it was nice, the sun beat down and her fair skin would blister.
When a man walked by offering ice cold sodas Rose took it immediately and a few other snacks for the day. Beach food was cheap but oh so good.

Luke felt hands grab a hold of him. A small voice whispered to him telling him to hold on, just a little further. Yet all the words seem to blend together as the waves continued to push and pull at him.

Shea swam as fast as she could to reach the shore. But night was falling and the tides where getting stronger. The bite from the water was beginning to make Shea shiver. With the man behind her slowly slipping into unconscious, Shea swam even harder till she felt sand beneath her feet.

Rune sat on the beach watching the water roll in and out. It was almost as if the earth was breathing, and that's when she felt the prickle of magic play at the base of her neck. Looking around she didn't see anyone, she wondered who had gifts that strong to evoke fear in her that quickly.

She ran her hand over her neck, reciting a small protection prayer. As she wrapped it up with 'so mote it be' the feeling almost disappeared but she could feel the dark magic playing along the edges of her spell. Shuddering slightly, Rune wrapped her arms around her legs and talked with her great-grandmother who was buried in the same ocean that she was watching.

Luke was semi conscience when he felt wet, salty lips touch his own. The familiar motions of CPR were being performed on him. As he felt himself submerging back to reality Luke opened his eyes, only to stare into a glowing purple eyes, and a blue haze surrounding her.
" What the fuck? "

" Hi..." Shea said suddenly coming down from an energy rush. She felt like sleeping,Shea realized. All the events of tonight passed through Shea. As she went to stand up,the world began to spin. Once on her two feet Shea crashed back on her knees unable to keep her eyes open. The last thing she saw was the man reaching for her.

Luke missed when he attempted to catch the girl. She fell into the sand her breathing as rapid and her blue haze was slowly dimming. Luke had no idea what to do. He, himself was in no condition to do anything but sleep.
As he reached for the woman to pull closer to shore, sparks fell and her eyes popped open. She let out a harsh scream, burning his ears till he released her. The screaming than stopped, but burn marks remained on her arm where he grasped her. Something wasn't right here.

Rune was just about to head home when she heard the scream of a woman down the beach. Forgoing the prickle of dark magic still dancing around her protection spell, she sprinted down the beach towards the sound.

Coming to a halt within a few feet, Rune looked around to see if there was anyone else around. It seemed that it was just herself, the man and the woman at the moment. She saw the burn marks on the woman's arm and instantly knew that something was amiss.

Crouching down near the man, Rune stayed an arm length away. Sir, are you okay? What's happening here? Snapping her fingers, she conjured up two blankets, handing one to the man and gently laying on down next to the woman. If his hand burnt her skin, Rune had no idea what her magic would do to the girl.

Luke didn't know what to say when the woman conjured blankets. Instead he acted, wrapping the young woman in one of the blankets careful not to touch her again he looked up.
" Honestly I couldn't tell you even if I knew ma'am. I had a little mishap and got lost in the waves. Guess little miss 100 pounds wet here thought she a hero. " Luke knelt one knee as he looked over himself as well. No wounds, a small cut on his head
" What should we do about her? Touching her only hurts her more."
