Belle Gallery

Rose watched as one by one all the lights turned on revealing the art along the walls.
" Wow, remind me to have you decorate my house...." She said in astonishment.

"Thank you." Marina blushed a soft hue. It was her normal reaction.

"Well lead the way after all this is your gallery." Rose said excited to begin the tour.

Marina preferred to let people look; however, she would give Rose some information first. "That section over there," she pointed to one corner of the space, "is for different artists. You might have met Anthony; he has a few sketches over there. Everything else is mine. They all have tags with them. Tons of info on mine. They all have the date, medium, and what was painted if its an actual place or object. Some have more written there though."

"There are a bunch." They were displayed along the walls and on easel like displays all along the floor. "Plus a ton in the back, if you're interested." There were even more at home, as well.

Rose marched forward to marvel at the landscapes, Marina had drawn. Beautiful valleys and breath-taking sunsets Rose was surprised at the emotion displayed between these frames. Such vibrancy from the small and quiet girl.

Marina simply watched Rose look at the art. She enjoyed trying to read people's expression, to interpret the look in their eyes. Everyone saw a piece differently.

" These are truly wonderful Marina!" Rose walked around some more. " When did you start drawing? "

"Thank you." Marina blushed. "I always doodled. I got really in to it when I was about twelve."

" this is really amazing! I can't draw to save my life. Where do you find such inspiration? "

Rose was happy to see Marina blush, at least it meant she was modest.

"It depends. Some of them are actual places. Something so beautiful or unique that I have to capture it. Some come from my head. They are inspired by people or emotions." Her blush finally began to fade. "Inspiration does not always come though. I've had times where nothing comes."

" well thank you very much for showing this to me Marina. It's all very beautiful and i had a wonderful time!"

Rose spoke when her phone went off.
" Hello? " Heavy breathing could be heard but nothing else.
" Hello? " She repeated when the connection was cut.
" Okay than....Anyways Marina anything else you'd like to do?"

Marina nodded with a smile. "You're welcome." She was quiet during Rose's short call. "Is everything okay?" Calls can drop, or have bad reception, but one never knew.

" Yeah just a stupid call. Anywhoooo let's say we go shopping! I've got a pratically unlimited credit card in Kale's name and ready to use it!"
Rose said with a huge grin

Marina giggled. "I'm sure he'll love that." She nodded in agreement. "Shopping sounds good. Let me just turn off the lights." She moved to the back to quickly shut off all the lights that needed to be turned off before walking back up front.

Rose dung out her phone ready to send Kale another text when she got a look at the time.

" Holy crap! Hey Marina mind if we take a little detour? " Rose had nearly forgotten that she needed to stop by her mother's grave to place a new set of flowers and it the nearly closing time.
" And by detour I mean the graveyard? "

Ever curious, Marina wondered who Rose was visiting at a cemetery. No one's life was infinite. And she did not know Rose well enough to know who in her life had passed on.

She smiled. "Sure, I don't mind."

" Okay Thanks! Do you want to drive or shall I? "
