Perfect Pint

An English style pub serving the best fare of the Isles. The Pint caters to both humans and vamps.

(I'm kinda going off memory, so I'm not sure if I missed a thing or three.)

Riley served up a shot to Rose, Kale and she turned to K. Would you like something? She knew that some vamps could drink other things than blood - in moderation of course.

(I will also play dual Anthony if needed. I *think* he was out in the front with everyone...)

Yeah, sure....umm...I will have one of what they had....i just hope its strong... K laughed, knowing she hasnt been inebriated by alcohol since she died.

( Ok well Rose was about to head home. And Kale was staying for a little after taking Rose home. )

" Thanks Riley, Catch you later. If you hear anything about this chick, allow us to talk over dinner " Kale said not asking but more like arranging.
Escorting Rose out the door, rain began to fall.

Riley plunked down the shot in front of K and smiled up to Kale. It sounded like he was trying to wrangle a date out of her - she would have to see about that. Night guys, and I'll let ya know.

She turned back to K and grinned. The bar had emptied out a bit and there were a few patrons still floating around, Rye checked the others, smiling to Damon, nodding to him to let her know when he needed anything. Returning to her spot in front of K, Rye shook her head a little. Strange night, huh?

....Yeah....even for me...and Im dead K chuckled. Still trying to understand the happenings of tonight. Does this bar get like this everynight, minus the glowing girl?

Rye placed the glass down in front of K and grinned. Some days it's more human than vamp, and vice versa, but yeah, the bar's usually hopping. I like to think that it's my sparkling personality that attracts 'em. She laughed as she picked up a few empty bottles and tossed them in the bin.

Kale returned to the Perfect Pint just in time to catch Riley talking to K.

Hearing Riley say that made him laugh. Jumping into the conversation himself Kale said,
" True to that Riley my dear. You are the life of the Pint. "

Hearing Kale, she playfully put her fingers on her wrist to check her pulse, she laughed a bit. I'm one of the lives around here - you just get to hear my smart ass mouth most of the time. Rye clicked her teeth; Service with sarcasm - the best thing that I do.

K chuckled at Riley's sarcasm, remembering her days on the Ambulance with Clark, making jokes when patients weren't around. EMS- every minute sucks, or earn money sleeping. Making jokes about calls that were dreadful just to keep spirits up. She assumed that Riley working around so many undead did the same, joked to keep her spirits up.

You have to be awfully witty to dish out your amount of Sarcasm Rye. K laughed. so do you know a lot of vamps in the area? K directed the question to both Kale and Riley

Rye tilted her head a bit in agreement. I do try. Slipping the bar towel in her back pocket, she made sure that everyone's drink was still full and she returned to K's question.

Well, I know three. Anthony, she jerked her thumb towards Kale, that one and the one who ones the bar. She had met a few here and there, but nothing past serving them at the bar.

" There are many here as you can tell but the ones that matter are those that remain hidden. " Kale said thinking just for a moment. " I like to remain hidden purely for the reason humans will flip if we are discovered. And I don't want to be the idiot who does that. Anthony, is one that I know here now, Damon and I believe I have met Fyn once..."

Kale finished up his drink and began to reminisce. Going into hiding was his idea at first to protect Rose. He was lying to himself. Since Samantha saw the dawn and turned to dust Kale hated what he was. Now it's his life he might as well live it even though it's not what he whats. It's difficult to see the person who turned you die, makes all hope vanish for yourself.

K listened to the words her new friends spoke. Both of them only new a few vamps...but maybe, just maybe, they knew the right few to aide in K's quest for the man that killed her. Since, in the 4 years since her death, it seems the man has been in hiding.

Would this be like, the mass vamp hang out, or is there another place in/near town?

Kale knew of only one other places " Just outside of town there is what we call the hunting grounds. If the vamps aren't here than they will probably be out there...get take out. " Kale snickered.
" Riley got another shot there with my name on it? And maybe some of my regular. "

K mulled over the words that Kale spoke....take out....hunting grounds....this might be the place to find the muderer...well....technically he didnt kill kill her, she chuckled to herself.

kale, have you ever been out there? She thought about what she was going to do next....and decided to hell with it.

Is there somewhere I can talk to you all privately?

Rye knew that Anthony's sire owned a bar, but was sure what was going on with it. She looked around for Anthony - who, like most vamp's she knew - vanished into thin air. I'll ask around for ya, Fyn or A' might know of something.

She nodded and grabbed up some whiskey, filled the shot glass leaving it in front of Kale, and went about warming up some blood for him. Putting on her cheesiest grin, Rye slid the glass in front of him. Service with a smile.

That would be wonderful, since I may be trying to locate someone, whose name I do not know.....but well...let's just call him something of a parent to me.... She tried saying is sublty enough that maybe Riley wouldnt get it, but knowing how smart she was, she totally would.

I'll take a shot of that....and maybe some 0- too K smiled at her new friend. Happy, that now she has people to talk to

Riley smiled as K tried to word it that she wouldn't pick up on that she was looking for her Sire. So you're looking for your Sire, are ya? I've been immersed in the vamp world since I was in my teens... Pulling out a shot glass, she filled it with the same whiskey that Kale had and warmed up some O- for her. Placing both down in front of K, Rye chuckled... so I've heard it all... sire, maker, parent, take your pick.

Kale was slightly curious why K would want to search for the man. She seemed happy as a vamp but maybe he was assuming wrong. He better not interfere.
" If you'd like tomorrow night I can take you up to the ground."

k brought the whiskey to her lips and shot it down as fast as she could....but there still was no burning sensation, not like she used to get with whiskey. She sipped the blood, and that, that is what gave her that feeling.

K turned to Kale. That would be wonderful....thank you

Rye stepped back to let the two vamps conduct their business, so she checked on the few patrons that were left, and did some cleaning as she went.

" Sure Ill just inform Rose of morrow nights plans. Riley, Rose wanted to talk to you. Would you like her number? " Kale asked sipping as his drink. His week was filling up quickly.

K was shocked. Never had she thought that coming into this pub tonight would yeild such fruitful results. Not only was she being taking to possibly the place where this crazy eyed man might be hiding, she has also made friends along the way. People willing to aide her in her quest, altho not knowing the possible dark outcome....

kale, i must say, you rock....a lot. K smiled in youthful smile and sipped her blood

Rye had moved back in front of the two vamps and smiled. Seems like you've got yourself a fan club, Kale. She grinned as she picked up the empty shot glasses and dropped them in the small sink behind the bar.

We are closing soon, I didn't know if you wanted a drink for the road or not. She looked down to the other bartender and nodded - then listened to him yell out 'last call - drink up and go home'. See once again, service with a side of sarcasm. Rye laughed a little as she looked between Kale and K.

K turned to Kale as people began filling out of the bar. where should we meet tomorrow night?
