The Woods

Drake watched her motions, sighing inwardly - he would do what he would have to in order for Leta to eat.

He sat up in front of her and bared his teeth, the low growl backing up his snarl. He opened up his connection to her just long enough to communicate a few words to her. You can and you will - I won't let you die out here. Now drink!

Closing off the connection once again, Drake leaned in closer to her as he tilted his head.

She could smell and hear the alpha in Drake. If he wanted to be that way than fine, yet Leta's heart fluttered at the thought. Baring her fangs Leta sung them in and tasted heaven. The nectar of life flowed through her mouth making her stronger with every sip. Careful not to drain him or take too much, Leta stopped the flow and with a sensual lick sealed the wounds.
She couldn't bring herself to look at Drake after that.

Drake closed his eyes as he felt Leta's fangs sink into his neck. Strange thoughts bounced about his head, and at this moment he was thankful that he had closed off their telepathy. If he had been in his human form, he could have found himself aroused by the act of being fed on.

His heart rate spiked for a moment, but not from Leta's drinking - it was of his own accord brought on by his thoughts. He felt her teeth being extracted from his skin, he turned at looked to her through his silver eyes but she wasn't looking at him. He let out a cross between a whine and a yelp before he licked the side of Leta's face.

Drake laid down behind her - placing her between himself and the fire so she could stay warm - he rested his head across his paws and waited for her to lay down too.

She smiled softly before laying down close to the fire and waited shortly as exhaustion consumed her and she slept.
Her dreams were vivid but short lived as she was suddenly awaken by a cold draft. It was beginning to lighten outside. She sat up and felt the warmth of Drake next to her. She had no idea what to say or to do. Memories of last night kept replaying in her mind.

As Drake felt Leta stirring, he couldn't help but yawn. He glanced over his shoulder and looked at the brightening sky. He stood and stretched before nudging at the back her neck, opening his connection to her for just a moment - she could speak since she was in human form.

I'll leave you to sulk now - I have to return to the night club - again, you know where to find me. Like a switch, he flipped it off again, and circled the cave once before stopping to nod at her.

Leta didn't say anything. She stood allowing the blanket to fall. Walking passed the fire pit she reached for her pack. Looking at Drake she nodded back at him.

Drake let out a small 'woof' and broke into a run, heading back towards the city. He was pretty sure that Leta would avoid him for awhile.

He left. And that pissed Leta off. She stood and dressed quickly. If he wanted it that way than fine. She stormed out of the cave absently leaving behind her blanket. She came to town for one reason and that was not to screw around with some alpha wannabe. Or so Leta kept telling herself while her heart beat to a different tune. She'd fix it later right now she had fish to fry or in this case dogs to put down.
A team of lycans had gone a little blood thirsty and turned feeding from flesh into a sport instead of the binding and romantic motion which it truly is. Thinking of that brought images of Drakes neck, his human neck beneath her fangs as his blood flowed into her as he pounded into her. shaking away the fantasy Leta marched ahead.

Tarin sat within her circle and looked up to the full moon. Tragically most of her circle had either died or were scared off. Something triggered fear within the group and Tarin was the only one left to practice... well, what they preached.

She checked to make sure that her circle was secure with salt, and one by one she started to call the quarters. First North, then South, then East and finally West. She could feel each of her guardians watching, protecting.

"Mother Earth, please tell me what may have spooked off the rest of the Coven." It wasn't a question nor a demand, just a hopeful reflection that may be answered. The crystal she held was silent - so that meant that she would be also.
