Seedy Side of Town

Sera twirled a strand of hair as she considered his question. Would it give him the advantage? No she didn't think so, Would it share any weaknesses? No but perhaps expose her many 'talents'.
" Who doesn't nowadays."
Sera laughed, it coming out like a purr.

Kear slid his hands into the pockets of his jeans and looked her over. "An dtuigeann tú?" Her laughter created just the smallest hint of a sly smile on his face while he waited to see if she understood him.

" Now don't you think your cool speaking Gaeli-"

Just as Sera was going to respond, a pained yell grabbed her attention. She spun around to witness a poor young woman now surrounded by the group of gang-bangers Sera passed. She carried a bag of groceries which now lay scattered on the ground. Her dark skin paled with fear as the group closed in on her.
Sera felt her anger surface for the young woman. Unable to just stand and do nothing, Sera's gun was out and aimed in a split second. A single bullet shot and ricocheted off a street lamp, hitting a hanging flower pot. And like domino's a chain reaction took place, the flower pot hit one of the gang-bangers square in the head knocking him unconscious upon impact.
The group now turned their attention to Sera, poised with her gun ready for anything.

Kear looked over Sera's shoulder when he heard the commotion. He had no interest in getting involved, but it seemed that notion didn't even enter Sera's mind.

He watched her with ease and precision drop the pot onto the gang-bangers head - and now it seemed that the rest of the group was highly interested in her because of her actions.

"You can't not keep your nose of out their business can you?" Kear returned to leaning on the post, however he removed his hands from the pockets and crossed them across his chest. If push came to shove - he would interevene - maybe.
