Shea let a grin slip out before an awkward silence fell over them. Sbea thought about Damon, and how lonely he must get. A loneliness she felt.

Shea tended to alieninate herself because she felt different. Her heart went out to Damon as she felt a sudden weight pulling her heart down. A man as kind a.d fentle as Damon deserved companionship and happiness.

"You should laugh more often." Damon looked down at her with a kind expression. He could feel the emotions coming off her.

" In my line of work, laughing comes hard. "
Shea stood outside her apartment building, arms crossed and her feet still. She watched Damon as he both stood completely out from their surroundings and blended in all too well. Like if he wanted to he could just slip away into the night never to been seen again.
That kind of made Shea sad to think about.

" I better get to bed soon. My shift at the hospital starts in a few hours. " Her voice faded somewhat before she extended an invitation.
" But if you find yourself bored tomorrow, the hospital is near the park if you wanted to..." She stopped to look away from him. " Stop by. "
