Lyna listened quietly while he spoke. When he asked her the question as well, she smiled small. "I think so. I'll know most if not all of the people, so it shouldn't be as odd as the Halloween party was."

I believe the Halloween party will go down in history as one of the best and most unusual parties I've ever been too. Blaze looked to Lyna wondering if he should ask, he almost felt weird doing it - but he asked anyway. Uh, do you have a special dish that you make? I know that it would help Sage out a bunch if you wouldn't mind bringing something.

"I could make veggie dip. Its good. Goes great with vegetables obviously, but its good with chips too." Lyna smiled a bit, hoping it was a good suggestion.

He nodded in agreement. That'll work. I'm sure there will be lots to snack on. Blaze started formulating what needed to be done and sadly he would continue to add to the list even though the party was still two weeks away. They fell into a quiet lull for a little bit while they walked.

Lyna nodded, glad that her suggestion sounded good. Usually her idea of good party good was not as appetizing to others.

They came upon a small pond and he smiled at the inhabitants. Look Lyna, a crane. He pointed in the direction of the bird but he was sure she knew which one it was. There were also a few ducks and two white swans.

Lyna looked in that direction watching the birds. "They're beautiful." She loved nature, and the creatures that inhabited it.

Okay, I guess I need to pull in my 'girlie' gene as Sage calls it. How many guys do you know that can distinguish between a crane and a swan? He laughed a little before depositing twenty-five cents in the 'feed-a-duck' machine. Here, Lyna grab the feed for the birds. He kept the lid of the dispenser closed until she was ready to catch it all.

"There's nothing wrong with you knowing that." Lyna smiled up at him. When he mentioned the feed, she cupped her hands below the dispenser.

He opened the lid and let Lyna catch the food. He glanced up towards the birds and they must've known the sounds of the machine because they all started milling about at the water's edge.

Oh boy, they look hungry. I'll save you if they get to feisty. He chuckled as they walked towards the birds.

Lyna softly laughed. "You better. They're almost as big as me." Bit of an exaggeration, but she was petite.

She walked with him to the water and started tossing out feed at first.

He eyed up the swans and geese then looked to Lyna and nodded. You're right. He was teasing, but really if the birds did get nasty he would pick her up and get her out of dodge.

He watched her intently as she tossed the food to the birds, the simplicity of her actions made him smile - it was a nice feeling.

Lyna smiled at Blaze then looked back at the birds. Some of the little ducks waddled up. She squatted down to leave some food in a small pile on the ground.

Blaze smiled as he watched Lyna feed the ducks, he knelt down beside her since a few of the geese were getting pushy. Um, you have anything planned after this?

Blaze grinned a little. If you're hungry, we can get a bite to eat, that is if you want. Just as he looked to one of the geese next to him, another one nipped his shoulder. Hey, now back up, buddy! Blaze tried to shoo the goose away and it seemed to work.

Lyna nodded with a smile. "I'd like that." She watched him with the birds, laughing at his reaction to one of them. Then she dropped the rest of the food. Well, tossed it for them, so they would move.

Blaze stood up and offered her his hand. Then let's see what we can find. He wasn't really hungry, but he could go for an appetizer or something. Do you want to follow me or should we ride together?

The made it to the edge of the parking lot, right near Blaze's car, so he leaned on it while he thought about it.

There's this little place called The Grease Trap about two miles down that way. He pointed towards the south. It's right on the road - you can't miss it. Say meet me there in about 10 minutes? He pulled his keys out of his pocket as he twirled them around on his finger.

Mikeal was a little groggy after his slumber. But more importantly he was starving. Used to only one method of feeding himself, Mikeal resorted to his master teachings. Spotting a pretty blonde walking jogging...this late at night? Oh well, Mikeal thought. Food was food.

8/31/10

Morrigan had spent his last couple of hours at work itching to get out and enjoy the rest of the day. The 12 hour shifts were starting to wear on him but this day was to nice to pass up. Digging around in the trunk of his car, Morrigan pulled out his basketball and headed towards the hoops to burn off some energy.

It was such a nice day that Scarlett decided to actually go for a run. It had been a considerable amount of time since her last one. After popping in both of the ear buds, she ran along the different paths, as music filled her ears.

Morrigan had just made a basket when he caught a jogging figure out of the corner of his eye. Turning a little bit, he realized who it was. Watching her run, Morrigan knew that she probably wouldn't hear him, but he cat called her anyway. Standing with the ball to his side, he waited to see if Scarlett heard him or not - and there was a grin on his face the entire time.
